IT IS CHRISTMAS EVE AND PAPA DUVAL, AN OLD SHOEMAKER IS THINKING ABOUT THE CHRISTMAS STORY. THAT NIGHT, HE DREAMS AN ANGEL TELLS HIM THAT HE WILL SEE JESUS, IF ONLY HE LOOKS HARD ENOUGH. ALL THE NEXT DAY, PAPA DUVAL LOOKS OUT OF HIS WINDOW AND HE SEES MANY PEOPLE PASSING, IN NEED OF A HOT DRINK, A WARM FIRE OR A KIND WORD. AS HE GOES TO BED THAT NIGHT, PAPA DUVAL IS DISAPPOINTED THAT HE DOES NOT SEE THE SPECIAL VISITOR. WHEN THE ANGEL APPEARS TO HIM AGAIN, PAPA DUVAL REALISES WHAT BEING A GOOD SAMARITAN IS ALL ABOUT.
