About Kate

Kate has worked across the board, from nursery and early years to running training for head teachers and heads of music services.

Kate has conducted at the Royal Albert Hall twice, for the Music for Youth Schools Proms with a massed choir of five hundred young people, performing two of her songs, ‘World at my Feet’ and ‘Under the Same Sky’.  With the Mendip Male Voice Choir, she conducted at Glastonbury Classical Festival when Katherine Jenkins was headlining, and at Bath Abbey, and Clifton Cathedral.

She has also worked for Iford Opera as Education Manager, lectured at Bath Spa University on the PGCE course, been the Deputy Head of Bristol Arts and Music Service, Assistant Head of Wiltshire Music Service and loves treading the boards herself. She was a member of Howard Goodall’s ‘Sing Tank’ which led to the foundation of Sing Up.
